Mixi Clear Plex BPO Acne Gel is a benzoyl peroxide acne treatment formulated to target active breakouts at the source. It delivers one of dermatology's most clinically validated acne-fighting ingredients in a clean, straightforward gel base with no unnecessary actives or competing ingredients to worry about.

Key Ingredients

Benzoyl Peroxide: Water-soluble crystalline powder in the organic peroxide family that works as a bleaching and peeling agent, is antimicrobial, increases cell turnover, reduces bacterial count, clears up existing acne, and prevents future breakouts.
Glycerin: Provides long-lasting, intense moisture retention.

Inactive Ingredients: Purified Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Carbomer, Caprylyl Glycol, Sodium Hydroxide, Potassium Sorbate

Prepare: Cleanse skin thoroughly and pat dry. Benzoyl peroxide absorbs best on clean, dry skin. Applying to damp skin increases the risk of irritation, particularly at higher strengths.

Apply: Dispense a pea-sized amount and apply a thin, even layer across the entire affected area rather than spot treating individual blemishes. This helps address active breakouts and prevent new ones from forming in the same zone.

Technique: Less is more. A thin layer works as well as a thick one, and excess product increases irritation without improving results. Avoid the corners of the nose, mouth, and eyes where skin is thinner and more reactive.

Frequency: Start with the 2.8% strength every other night. Always apply SPF 30+ every morning. Benzoyl peroxide increases photosensitivity and treated skin is more vulnerable to UV damage and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
